RETURN TO WINSTON-SALEM
The Winston-Salem Symphony announces their 2021-22 season, including an all-American program featuring Stephen alongside legendary saxophonist Branford Marsalis.
DEBUT WITH ARKANSAS SYMPHONY
Stephen makes his debut with the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra conducting pieces by John Adams, Maurice Ravel, Igor Stravinsky, and Robert Schumann, and the world premiere of his orchestration of Ravel's Toccata from Le Tombeau de Couperin. The concert with cellist Gabriel Martins will be the opening concert in the ASO’s 2021-2022 subscription series.
DEBUT WITH DETROIT SYMPHONY
Stephen makes his debut with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra conducting the annual Ford House parks concert on July 10 & 11.
Stephen steps in for Jeffery Kahane with the Sarasota Orchestra conducting pieces by Felix Mendelssohn and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Stephen will return in the 2021-22 season to perform a program of Mozart, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, and Benjamin Britten with cellist Ifetayo Ali-Landing. .
